we're usually used to this going west to east. in this case, though, tonight it's drifting up out of the south and going up to the northwest but the north bay probably not going to get as much rain as locations san jose south into gilroy later on tonight. so the area of low pressure spinning off the coast here. this is going drop down toward central california during the day tomorrow. best chance of thundershowers this evening right around the center of rotation offshore from areas around santa cruz into san jose south the next couple of hours. tomorrow as that low kicks through southern california, we still have a chance of showers just one more day. mainly the east bay hills and area south of san jose for the morning as the lift now takes place in those east bay hill tops, also around the north bay. you'll see as we go hour by hour, showers tonight. widespread rain tonight and then changing over after midnight to a few scattered showers in the south bay. during the afternoon maybe still enough instability in those north bay hill
